It was years ago that the Performance Center first introduced the 2 5/8″ snub nose 627 UDR sometimes also called the PDR.
While cool, it took Clint Eastwood in the movie Bloodwork to propel this little revolver to cult status. Used revolvers were selling for really crazy money. So much in fact that S&W brought the revolver back as a catalogued item that is still available today.
Now those that love the smaller frame 686 have a reason to celebrate. Here is a 7 shot model 686 version of the UDR
